Backstory: I was trying to sell my Towncar on Craigslist. Next day I find a 4Runner online I just had to have. Went in to the stealership and traded in the Towncar for the 4Runner. Immediately went ahead and deleted my Towncar post on craigslist.
A day later, I try to post my Dodge Ram up so sale and that when it happens. I'm now a ghost. Everything I post has a link, but does not come up in search. I think deleting a post and entering another one in a short period triggered something in their system to make me seem fraudulent.
Solutions I will be trying: Make another account, post without an account, find another site to post, or keep the truck. So, Oppo, other than Craigslist, what other free sites have you found success in buying or selling your rides
Have a clean Continental

Craigslist isn't free? I thought you have to pay 5 dollars to post an aid?

Only if you're a dealer. Private sales are free.

For some reason I thought Kijiji was a Canada-only thing, but I've never really looked into it...

Idunno... I've used it from both sides and never had an issue(dealer and private).
You have to click the link in the email to actually 'publish' the ad after it's all created and everything. A lot of people forget about that step.

I guess the only hurdle then is a limited audience in the states if most people don't think to look there.

ebay is also a thing

I work for a dealer and we use eBay for a lot of things, and personally I would be hardpressed to use it for my personal dealings. Since you have fees, usually have to deal with shipping, and the caliber of cars on there are usually good examples, not somewhere you would try to sell the POS you bought, fixed, and are flipping.

The link that takes you to your ad?

After you finish all the stuff online, you will get an email and in it there is a link that it says you must click, and I believe when you do that there should be a bar up at the top where it has options to publish/edit/remove the listing.
